Breast screening is an essential activity

We are inviting those who have been waiting the longest first, so if you are due your 3 yearly routine breast screening appointment, rest assured that you will receive an invitation in due course. We are accepting self-referrals for clients over the age of 71.

At your appointment

Due to COVID-19, there are restrictions in place.

In order to maintain social distancing at the screening location please do not arrive any earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time and unfortunately you will not be able to bring anyone else unless you require a formal carer.

Please consider the government advice on attending medical appointments. Women who are in the extremely vulnerable category, who have been tested for COVID 19, who have current symptoms or would like to discuss their circumstances further should call the breast screening office on 01582 497599 .
